Workshop: Strumming Curiosity: Embracing Change with the Ukulele
By Christopher Malapitan
Brussels: 12 February 2025
This workshop aims to help participants connect with their inner selves through the power of music making. Engaging in music-based activities can allow us to connect to our thoughts, feelings and body. Building a stronger relationship with ourselves helps us better adapt to change and adversity. We shall use the ukulele, with its cheerful sound and ease of learning, as a tool for reflection about our self.
Please note that no prior musical experience is required. Christopher ensures inclusivity and active engagement for everyone regardless of their musical ability. And no, this is not a ukulele lesson.
Participants are welcome to bring their own ukuleles if they wish.
In this workshop we will:
- Connect to our inner selves and each other through music making.
- Explore our sense of openness and curiosity mindset.
- Bring into awareness what brings us joy.
Do join us for an evening of joyful music making activities, discussions and reflections!
This workshop is strictly limited to 20 participants.
