Workshop: NWOW - A New Way of Working - A Discussion

Brussels: 23 February 2022

-- Please note new venue and Covid rules below --

With Covid rules being relaxed, people will be returning to the office, remote working will no longer be compulsory and mask mandates are relaxing. Covid passports and testing may also be relaxed. It is still, as it has been for a while, a confusing time for many of us. This discussion will take a look at what this means for the future of work and how we handle it from a wellbeing perspective. Among the questions we will look at are:

  1. What is the current situation?
  2. What have we and others been living through?
  3. What will be the new ways of working?
  4. What do we want to happen?
  5. How will we navigate these constant changes and keep our sanity?

There are three main areas to keep in mind:

  1. Returning to the company offices: shared workspaces, flexdesk, clean desk and other new rules.
  2. Outside the company: teleworking from home, satellite offices, coworking or secondment to the client.
  3. WFH: Family life, home office, isolation, distractions, work life balance, IT Support.

Using swarm intelligence, (i.e. our own experiences) we will come away with a better shared idea of what could happen, what happens elsewhere and some ideas of what to expect. The areas we discuss may include: mobility, environment, work-life balance, change management, to name but a few.
