Workshop: Introduction to Ayurveda – The Science of Life
By Renuka Ayri
Brussels: 11 December 2024
Ayurveda is one of the oldest Holistic Healing Systems that focuses on treating the individual as a whole rather than addressing specific symptoms. The essence of Ayurveda lies in the delicate balance between Body, Mind, and Spirit. It proposes to use diet, nature, herbal treatment, meditation, yoga and yogic breathing to maintain and restore health.
This workshop aims to empower you to take control of your health and well-being by understanding your unique body-mind constitution and by adjusting your lifestyle to live a healthier and happier life.
In this workshop, you will learn:
- The concept and philosophy of Ayurveda.
- The benefits of Ayurveda.
- The five main elements (Panch Mahabhutas) and their roles in our unique body-mind constitution (Doshas).
- The six tastes of food and the role of nutrition in health & well-being.
- Some simple, practical tools to restore balance.
Join Renuka's workshop to learn how to incorporate the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda into your daily life and experience the benefits of a balanced and harmonious existence.
