Workshop: How Our Perception influences Our Well-Being
By Amelie D'Souza
Brussels: 8 January 2025
Are you in charge of your perception? Or is your perception controlling you? And where does your perception take you? What is helpful and what isn’t?
Why does that matter?
It matters because it influences our wellbeing. Modern neuro-science gives us insights into how the brain, mind and body work together as an integrated system.
In this workshop Amelie picks one variable in this system – perception. She will take you on a short journey to explore how your perception shapes your experience. Let yourself be inspired to try out different perspectives on attention, perception and get a first hand experience of its impact on mood and emotions.
In this workshop, you will:
- Experiment with the enormous power you have to shape your own subjective experience.
- Get some - maybe new - neuro-science insights.
- Have some more tools in your personal well-being toolbox.
- Be able to devise your own training exercises to guide attention.
Join us on this short, enjoyable, experimental journey with playful exercises, discussions and reflections.
