Workshop: Your Networking Pitch - How to Make a Powerful First Impression

By Nicole Wedell von Leupoldt

Brussels: 28 March 2018

Your pitch − be it an elevator pitch, a networking pitch, a personal brand statement, pitching your start-up for investors or just telling your aunt what you are actually doing − is a powerful tool for making a fabulous first impression.

Since Imagination Club members like you are awesome professionals, why not bring together our strengths in introducing ourselves and coming up with the essence of a networking pitch?! If we add some tricks, we'll see how we can adjust our pitches to a variety of situations and win the listener on your ideas.

If you would like to learn from other networkers how pitching works best for them, how to devise a great pitch for yourself and get feedback on your pitch, this workshop is for you.

About Nicole Wedell von Leupoldt

Being a founding member of a university infiltrated Nicole with a “you can do about anything” mentality. So, she did. She co-set up a career development program for that university here, gave trainings on career related topics there, guided people through cities and on mission trips in other places, interpreted for butterflies... Then, one day,  the sneaky travelling spouse syndrome caught up with her in the middle of Flanders.

Her motto: “Embrace it if you can’t beat it” led her to develop the pilot dual career program for the University of Leuven, which was highly appreciated by the participants.

Nicole is also a city guide in Leuven, currently following a Transactional Analyses coaching training and co-founding TalentInterlock, a service to train travelling spouses and to bridge the gap between their (too often) unnoticed talent and local companies.
