Workshop: You Can Heal Your Past

By Dijana Zorić

Brussels: 26 June 2019

The human brain is a powerful thing, but it does not distinguish between reality and imagination. This means that the brain cannot tell the difference between something we are just thinking about and something that is actually happening.

This is well known and many of us already apply effective techniques based on it, such as affirmations and visualisations, in order to influence our brain positively which, in turn, leads to more positive outcomes in our lives. But we can also use this inability/flaw of our brain to modify the past.

During this workshop you will learn a simple yet powerful technique based on Hawaiian Shamanism that you can use to “revisit” an unpleasant or traumatic event, from your past, that still affects you and blocks you from living your life fully. You will...

You can apply this technique both on yourself and others. Many people have successfully used it to overcome their obstacles and realise their goals. Let’s give it a try!

About Dijana Zorić

Dijana is a Croatian citizen who has been living in Belgium for the past five years. She graduated in English and German languages in the USA (B.A.) and in Germany (M.A.), but her formal education was just an introduction into a life of learning and discovering infinite facets of life.

Having worked in both private and public sectors, Dijana has been witnessed the destructive impact of stress on people. Searching for the foundation of life and its deeper meaning, in 2004 she became a yoga teacher, which marked the beginning of a journey of self-discovery. Dijana has also been doing ongoing research into health and wellbeing topics. As a result, she became an aromatherapist, a meditation teacher, a coach and a trainer-coach.

Her wish is to alleviate suffering by providing easy-to-use tools and tips, but primarily by paving the way to reconnecting with our innermost selves. Throughout the years, she has developed a programme of activities which enable individuals to embrace their spiritual dimension, strengthen their bodies and minds, and helping them deal with the challenges of everyday life more successfully. She has given numerous workshops on topics ranging from stress management, wellbeing at work, dealing with emotions, assertiveness, self-esteem and meditation.

In March this year Dijana received an international prize (WAW - Women Appreciating Women) for her positive contribution to society.
