Workshop: The X-factor of life: Emotional Intelligence (EQ)
By Tom Aerden
Brussels: 11 May 2016
“Life is not about you; it’s about the people around you.” And that’s where emotional intelligence comes in: how to better understand and get along with other people. Although some people are naturally more emotionally intelligent than others, you can develop emotional intelligence even if you aren’t born with it.
Your emotional intelligence is the basis for a variety of different skills — it impacts most everything you say and do each day. Emotional intelligence is the best predictor of performance in the workplace and the strongest driver of leadership and personal excellence. Increased emotional intelligence will improve team performance; improve decision making; reduce stress and increase your personal well-being.
At the end of this workshop, participants will have an insight on:
- The four elements of Emotional Intelligence
- How to Express Empathy
- How to avoid Expressing Empathy
